The application period is open from April 30 through May 28, 2025. Letters of Reference are due by Friday, May 30, 2025.

The Tata Transformation Prize supports breakthrough, innovative technologies that address India’s most pressing challenges. By recognizing and supporting the large-scale implementation of high-impact research, the Prize advances innovation in scientific fields that are critical to India’s societal needs and economic growth.

The Prize harnesses the exceptional potential of scientists in India to tackle urgent national challenges in three key areas: Food Security, Sustainability, and Healthcare. The goal is to improve quality of life across India and beyond.

The Tata Transformation Prize recognizes one Winner in each of the three categories, with INR 2 crores (approximately US$230,000) for each Winner.

One winner is selected in each of the three categories, with each winner receiving INR 2 crores (approximately US$230,000).
